ABOUT NANCY J. LEE
Born in San Francisco, Nancy is a nationally headlining stand-up comedian and multifaceted performer with a background in dance, improv, celebrity impressions, and acting. As an actor, some of her onscreen credits include THE BLACKLIST, NEVER HAVE I EVER, GREY'S ANATOMY, THE GARCIAS with Trinity Bliss, MYSTERY NOW with John Lithgow, DR. KEN with Ken Jeong, THUGABOO with The Wayans Brothers, THE WEDDING PALACE with Bobby Lee, THE LAST STAND with Kevin Hart and Anthony Anderson, and KTOWN COWBOYS with Bobby Lee and Daniel Dae Kim. She’s also gone viral with her hilarious and heartwarming original comedy videos as MRS. LEE. For several years, she was in a close-knit comedic theater group with Randall Park, Tim Chiou, Eddie Shin and Vivian Bang.
Nancy is also a certified dating coach for those searching for true love in a committed, long-lasting relationship! Whether onstage performing or in a coaching session, Nancy constantly disproves stereotypes with her tough-but-silly and always unapologetic attitude — bringing her big heart and authentic self into everything she does. Nancy currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and fellow comedian Cody Woods.

"Some years ago, we had a couple of church events: one in Orange County and the other in Los Angeles. The audience covered a wide range demographically – age, ethnicity, etc. We had a number of performances – musical, spoken word, a dramatic skit, as well as stand-up comedy. Normally, church events do not include stand-up comedy. But Nancy was perfect for the event. She was able to mix in hilarious accents, story-telling, and personal dating anecdotes that had both the young and old rolling in laughter. They were both wonderful events. Now, I’ve heard Nancy do stand-up in bars and clubs where there is no censorship on language or content. I know it must have taken a great deal of restraint for Nancy to attempt to perform stand-up in a church setting. But she did so with flying colors. She respected the boundaries of what was expected within a church setting, yet she still successfully entertained both young and old.
